beautiful with
and without flowers
vase from my mother

Ellen Grace Olinger
beautiful with
and without flowers
vase from my mother
shoveling . . .
scent of mint
through snow
My poem was published by Time of Singing, 25th Anniversary Volume, 1998.
Creative Note:
Time of Singing poetry journal, edited by Lora Zill, has a new site. This print journal was one of the first to publish my short poems, in the 1990s.
Sunday morning
sun on the path
I raked yesterday
November day
one small flower
in the garden
country roads
farmers prepare their fields
for winter
October days
and November in sight
frost on the ground
pink rose colors
through clouds
fallen leaves
