days to read
poems read before
by a summer window
with gratitude in July
and always
gardens grow well
in rain and sun
tall purple flowers
lily and hosta plants
today’s garden beauty
three windows
in my small study
how the light falls
on wood, art, walls
flowers from a store
arranged in the sunroom
one vase, then two
good to create
when we can
sometimes more
sometimes less
every year different
Deep calleth unto deep *
filling my heart with hope
greater than my mind
* The first line of my poem is from Psalm 42: 7 (KJV).
